Insurance Options

  • Health Insurance - Murray County has a self-funded medical plan. Paragon Benefits, Inc. is the third-party administrator who processes claims for Murray County. The health insurance network is Cigna. Claims questions and issues can be addressed to Christy Capehart in the Employee Benefits Department at (706) 517-1400 ext. 1243.
  • Dental Insurance - Murray County offers dental insurance to employees. The Standard is the third-party administrator who processes the claims.
  • Vision Insurance – Murray County offers vision insurance through The Standard.
  • Life and Disability Insurance – Murray County offers plans on life insurance, short- and long-term disability, cancer, and accident through the Standard. Please contact Christy Capehart in the Employee Benefits Department at (706) 517-1400 ext. 1243 for more information.


Retirement Plans

Murray County offers a 401A plan and a voluntary 457 plan which is administered by ACCG.
