The fire department, ambulances, and deputies are being delayed in finding residents due to numerous homes sharing the same address. To reduce response and arrival times to emergencies, the Murray County Building Inspector's Office, in cooperation with the Murray County E9-1-1 Center, is making changes to the shared addresses.
If your address needs to be changed, you will be notified by mail in the coming months. You do not need to do anything until you have been notified. Instructions will be included with your address change letter. Your address may change if your house is on a private drive with three or more habitable structures.
