Probate matters include handling estate issues, such as:

- Administrations
- No administrations
- Years support
- Guardianships of minors and incapacitated adults
- Safekeeping of wills

Fee Schedule
Fees for probate matters are as follows.
Administration Fees
These fees are assessed if the deceased did not have a will:
- $202 Filing Fee
- $192 for publication for four weeks
- $50 each for sheriff's service if needed
Dismission
These fees are for closing the estate after all matters are taken care of after six months:
- $187 Filing Fee
- $42 for one week publication
- $50 for sheriff's service if needed
Executorship
These fees are assessed if the deceased had a will:
- $202 Filing Fee
- $132 for publication if all heirs do not sign (4 weeks)
- $50 for sheriff's service if needed
Guardianship of a Child
- $137 Filing Fee
- $102 for publication if needed (2 times)
- $50 for sheriff's service if needed
Guardianship of an Incapacitated Adult
- $202 Filing Fee
- $132 for publication if needed
- $50 for sheriff's service if needed
- $150 for Attorney if needed
- $50 for service for proposed ward
No Administration
- $202 Filing Fee
- $192 for publication for four weeks
- $50 for sheriff's service if needed
Safekeeping of Wills
- $15 fee
Years Support
- $202 Filing Fee
- $192 for publication if needed
- $50 for sheriff's service if needed
Claims
- $15 each
Additional charges may apply for any certified mailing costs.
